Principles

The overall aim of Seasafe QA's certification services is to give confidence to all its clients and parties that a management system fulfills specified requirements. To inspire confidence, Seasafe QA has adopted several important principles:

Impartiality

Seasafe QA and its staff are free from any pressures or threats to impartiality like self-interest, self-review, familiarity or intimidation, which might affect their judgement in performing audit and certification services. 

Competence

Seasafe QA performs audit and certification service using competent auditors duly qualified, trained and authorized to execute all duties and activities incumbent upon their employer, within their level or work responsibility. 

Responsibility

Seasafe QA is responsible to assess sufficient objective evidence upon which to base a certification decision, whether to grant or not certification to its clients. 

Openness

Seasafe QA provides public access to, or disclosure of, appropriate and timely non-confidential information about its audit and certification process in order to reinforce confidence in the integrity and credibility of our certification services to specified interested parties. 

Responsiveness to Complaints

Procedures are in place for duly transmitted complaints against errors, omissions or unreasonable behavior to be investigated, if found valid, to be appropriately addressed and that reasonable effort will be made by Seasafe QA to resolve them.

Risk-based Approach

Seasafe QA adopts a risk-based approach to ensure it provides competent, consistent and impartial certification services.
